First Week Back / Sunday, July 23, 2006
Wow, it's already a week since I've come back from Perth. Time passes so slowly when you're waiting for something, but if you're not watching it, it flies past. School is new and the same simutaneously; we go to school and do the same things everyday, and that becomes the purpose of life for a while, school. But something different happens everyday so it's still a day, instead the passing of time.
Met Eric on Wednesday afternoon. Good to see him again. Haven't seen him since February or so. Whoa he was really slimmed down. Hehe I need to get working again.
The social was on Saturday, which was really really crap. It's more like a really expensive dance ($70) than a semi-formal. People spent so long choosing the right dress and on the night it was too dark to see anything anyway. Haley used $115 just for her shoes O_O I'm very proud to say, of all the things I bought solely for the use of the semi was $29. $20 for pants (although they're also work pants) and $9 on a lock of white hair extension. Mwhahah that looks so cool. I wore school shoes (polished ^^), black pants, black shirt and white tie. I was the only girl this year to go in suit, so now everyone will remember me. YES!
At first we went to Sherlyn's house for the pre. Argh, that morning was horrible. My mum wanted to go to some where that was the same distance to Chinese school but in the opposite direction so I had to take the bus. I just managed to make it to the bus stop down from my house on time, but the bus went straight past me, so I had to go take the train. But because I was so rushed in getting the bus that got away on time, I had left my wallet and so my ID card at home and had to pay adult fare for the 3 zome daily which costs $4.50 (still bleeding) and when I got off at the city there was only 4 minutes until the bus to Mansfield left. I ran for about 2 minutes then gave up. I dragged my sorry self up to Myers, yay, another half an hour to wait for the next bus. I was contemplating buying a yummy looking crepe at Crepe Cafe but by the time I made up my mind to actually buy it there was only 15 minutes left for the next bus so I just didn't bother.
On the bus I saw a rainbow (R) hehe randomness but it did make me feel better. I fell asleep and nearly missed my stop, and was late to my new class. Although my last class was the funnest (apart from no Jo :( ) this class is pretty fun too. Excluding me, there's 3 girls and 3 guys. The teacher's really funny too. Second class and we got a 400 word essay X_X After school, I just managed to get to the bus station and take the bus back to the city. I wandered around and was going to buy a rose for Liv and Sherlyn since I was escorting them, but my stomach needed attention, so I ate and then took the train back home, 'got ready', and then played StepMania for about another hour waiting for OIivia to come pick me up.
There, we got changed; I spent aaagggeesss putting that extension in my hair, because it wouldn't clip in properly. When everybody had arrived, we took heaps of photos, (I dropped Liv's camera and I think I broke it!!!) and had some problems with the cars, but in the end, Rachael, Courtney and Kelsey went in the Rolls Royce, and Susie, Sherlyn, Olivia and I went in the Bentley. Sherlyn's Bentley is awesome because it was custom made for their family, and had their family crest on the inside. It was pretty squished inside since the back was only designed for two people, so I had to slide off most of my seat. But I found the whiskey holder (^_^)V I was meant to escort Olivia and Sherlyn, but when we got there Olivia and Sherlyn just stepped off the car and I'm like hey! you're destroying my reason of being >_
And as I said before, the formal was crap. There were only 8 tables because they wanted us to walk around and socialise, but it was damn crowded for 400 people. The food was pretty crap too. I spent half the night holding people's coats and shawls and trying to keep up with their wandering, and the other half eating and watching them dancing and playing pool. I payed $70 for this shit so I'm gonna eat its worth!!! But then I went home 2 hours earlier because I was just so out of place.
On Sunday, usual outing. Argh, Chris got his hair cut and now it looks terrible!! Ok fine, not that bad, but I laughed at him for about 2 minutes straight when I first saw him XDXDMinh was coming so I dragged Chris off to eat crepes. It tasted really nice but I made such a mess out of it. Man, I wish they had a chua bing store in the city, because I'd be there every week XD Afterwards, we went to pool and I had to stay and play, but it was fun after a while. I was having a lucky streak and sunk about 4 balls. My newfound technique (hit straight and hit HARD) seems to work.
Charlene wanted to go bowling but it was too expensive, and then they went to take sticker photos. I went to Elizabeth Arcade with them (Brisbane's sticker photo machines are a ripoff, it's $15, Perth only costs $5!! The quality is better but still...) I was stuck to the iloveegg ball machine and refused to take sticker photos since I was broke. Aww I want that iloveegg dragon :'( Browsed around DNA for a bit, and when they were finished they left for Replay and I met Raymond. We went to Replay too since there was nothing else to do. Charlene shouted Liv and I to DDR. DDR Supanova is sort of crap too, the arrows are a bit off sync and sometimes even if you had pressed it it passes through anyway.
Liv had to keep Maiki away from Raymond since he'd already said he didn't want to see him, and Raymond was being a little pissy about it. When I was playing DDR Liv came up and said something to me which I couldn't hear, and at the end of the game I went out and Liv was crying and said she wanted to go home, so everyone apart from Raymond went to see her off. No one had any idea why she started crying, so we just saw her off and separated. Chris and I lingered on top of the library for a while, then I got a curfew extension and we went to the park. It was wet. Turning point of which I felt really bad-sick.
At home I had to add Minh back on msn because I needed to get my anime back off him. Now he tells me he didn't really mean all the things he said. He thinks everything's alright now because he said sorry, he doesn't even think about all the people he hurt because he was in a bad mood. Ah well, StepMania makes up for everything now.

Dragged Jay shopping for present, him complaining the whole way. Ate so much ice cream in Sydney from Jay. They went to the travel agency to look at skiing and I went to the computer store beside and was traumatised... humhumhum....
A Night In Fantasia
Met Bryan in the morning, wandered around Martin's Place looking for other people of which we only found Ada, then we went to the Art Gallery (of which I helped getting us lost (^.^>) Ada, Sarah and Julianna went to eat but I thought it was too expensive so me and Bryan went to look around by ourselves. Lots of fun catching up. I sent an email to all the TTP but none of the Sydnians emailed me back except for Bryan so didn't see any of them. Pity. Some of the artworks were really nice, but I don't really like contemporary art, more interested in the ancient Asian art. Haha I'm racist, so what? :P There was this really funny room where there were these black boxes with eyeholes and you could go inside the box and wheel it around. Pretty cool and lots of fun running of randoms XP Me and Bryan got hungry and he took me outside and to the 'waterside' to eat MacDonald's. Then we had to walk all the way to Town Hall of which he had no idea where it was. I sorta missed him from the Taiwan tour and he was really sweet. And the only Sydnian from. Apparently Belinda went to Fantasia as well *shruggz* Met some more of his church friends in Kinokuniya then we went to line up in front of Town Hall. The line was huge, but it moved pretty quickly at time. Bryan poked me and I screamed and everyone turned around to look at us @^_^@" But Fantasia itself was really awesome, the music was beautiful. I fell asleep near the end of the interval during the FF medley but ah bleh. The rest of the night was absolutely stunning music. I loved the My Neighbour Totoro songs, and Howl's Moving Castle ones were pretty good as well. Really worth it.The rest of the nightAfter the concert ended I called my sister and was given impatient instructions to K and had to leave quickly. It really was a shame I was leaving the next morning otherwise I would have spent more time. K was a horrible affair with my sis' friends of which afterwards if anyone had opened up my head, they would have found deep rents around the temple/ears on my brain due to the loud and constant screeching sounds you get when you point the microphone at the speakers. But it ended in about half an hour or so, whew~Then they took me clubbing XD I used my sis' passport coz they say I look like her in the photo. I personally don't think I do but hey I got in. Alan Zhang was there which I thought was hilarious. Clubbing was sorta like the parties in TW except darker and more smoke. But it was still hell fun. At first I was just watching, trying not to suffocate from the smoke, but after a while it gets really fun. I didn't realli drink any alcohol, just a few sips from my sis'/Jay's drink, but the atmosphere really gets to you. At first I was a little shocked to see my sister dancing like that, but hey, we're all here for the same reason right? Might as well enjoy yourself :P I was dancing for a while then some random guys started dancing next to me. It felt really really good, like you don't know each other but you know what you want, what the other person wants, and everything just clicks. No, nothing happened, just some dancing for the rest of the night. The group went out at 1am or so to next door to eat, then went back down and grabbed their stuff and the group spilt to go home.We went to Pancake on the Rocks for dinner/breakfast at 2am (and it was really crowded there too) and left at three. So we got home around 4 all completely trashed. I set my alarm clock for 8:15, but because Meng was sleeping on that side, when my phone rang he just turned off the alarm and went back to sleep. Some time later he woke me up with "hey Karen... it's 9 right now..." "Holy shit are you serious?! ..... EVERYBODY UP!!!" Jay said we should get out of the house at 9 for my flight at 10 but everyone was still asleep == unreliable bastards. After a lot of rushing, just managed to be on time. I was allocatted an emergency exit seat, and the people kept asking me if I was dependable to help and I'm like yesyesyes just let me get on the plane!!! But other than that, all was well, and I just slept on the plane.~keii~

Should have done this earlier but after his party I had to pack for Sydney and never got around to it.It was mostly just come if you want, so there was me, him, Liv, Sherlyn couldn't come, Pascal said maybe, and Bob, Sean, Victor, Harvey and James. Everyone met up in Replay and played a few games waiting for the late-comers. The guys were mostly very disorganised and were too broke to go anywhere. So me and Liv just walked on ahead and hoped they followed. Didn't go bowling because it was too expensive for them broke people, so we went to pool. After that we went to eat, and back to Replay to meet Pascal.Pascal was playing DDR and didn't want to go watch a movie with us, so we stayed in Replay for quite a while more while Bob had fun on Guitar Freaks (of which he really sucks at) and watched Pascal play DDR. I saw the guy who owned Minh on Tekken so I grabbed Liv who really wanted to beat him, and was talked up by this random guy. Lex was there too so chatted for a bit.Haha last time we couldn't decide where to go we played paper scissors rock for Sunnybank, Valley, Southbank and the city and I won and we went to the Valley and played pool in Cybercity.When we went for the movie Sean and Victor left. I think I've watching more movies these two months than in the last two years. Mission Impossible 3, X-Men 3, Cars, Stick It, Fast and Furious 3, and then Click. Since I've never watching MI before I thought it was ok, XM3 was shit, Cars was sorta cliche but it was ok since it was a children's movie, Stick It was alright, F&F3 was absolute crap as well, and Click was cliche but ok to watch.After the movie Bob left as well. Me, Liv, Chris and James went to Town Hall and quietly laughed at the emo gathering. Haha once Bob hugged an emo and said "Jesus loves you" He was chased XD Liv got out her sparkler and a muffin and lit it as a replacement for candles and a birthday cake. Haha we told Chris to blow out the sparkler, and the idiot picked up a random paper bag from the floor and tried to put it out that way. Guess what happened? The paper bag caught on fire, the sparkler stayed lit and Chris burnt himself == Guys can be such tools. James left soon, and we dropped Liv off with perfect timing XP Then I gave the rest of the presents to Chris; including a FMA notebook which was a shared present from me and Liv because the lazy bum didn't get Chris anything. We wrote on it, I plastered it with my customary plastering of stickers with a photo of the three of us. And an added geniosity (geniosity shouldn't be a word but hey :P) which I stuck magnets on the pages so he could hide that page if he wanted to. Haha James flipped right past it XD But then on the day Liv gave Chris a lucky charm for traffic. I gave Chris the doubles of my emoticon magnets from TW with the box-tag from my shirt from DNA, and the tube of candy ;PWe were going to go back to MacArthur Centre like the day before but they were setting out for guests so we wandered around a bit, finally going to Roma St Parklands for quite a while. And scared a lot of passer-bys ;) In the end it was 7:55 when I made it made back home. Thank god my mum went out for dinner.~keii~

Sometimes, when you find out the real person... you are disgusted. It doesn't matter how long you've been with them, maybe you still don't know them yet. Hate to say this, but my sister is the biggest bitch when it comes to her boyfriend. I don't think she understand all that he does for her. Me and my sis were just watching the Wedding Crashers, and Jay just woke up. He couldn't find his phone so he took my sis' to call his. He yells from his room "Hey Cathe can you help me find my phone?" She just SITS there, and keeps on watching. I look at her amazed. I nudge her and she's like "what? Oh, dw bout it, he's looking for it" then she turns back to watching the tv. What freakin selfishness!! It's not like the house is very big, or he asked her to leave an important tv program, it's just a movie, pause it! Holy shit!! I was so pissed, just really disgusted at my own sister. It's your BOYFRIEND. Even if it was a normal friend you coulda done better. It's only now that I realise what an awesome boyfriend Jay is. He came out and saw Cath sitting there, ignoring him, and looked for the phone himself. Then Cath pretended to be angry about something and he spent another 10 minutes being nice to her even though he had to go for work. And then he also promised me he'd rent some movies so I wasn't so bored at home. I mean seriously, think about this on a regular basis. Jay is AWESOME. Meng has a good point there, my sis treats him badly and degrades him a lot in front of his friends, even if in a teasing manner, always putting him down with jokes, saying how she should break up with him etc. Just shut the fuck up bitch! I've never seen my sister do that to anyone before, just really disappointed; one day he will go and she will wonder why, and there will be no sympathies from me, sister or no. It's about who deserves it. And she doesn't.
And my day is spoiled.

Did next to nothing today... Slept at 2am the night before so got up around 11:30, stuffed around with Meng and Jay then went out to have lunch (some nice pat-thai noodle thingy). Came back home and Meng had to leave for work. Spent time waiting for my sister playing Step Mania and checking my DA (755 unread deviations...again! ==) My sis came home sorta pissed, but cheered when Jay took us to Eastwood shopping centre and treated us to ice cream. Hehehe
Jay dropped us off then had to go to work, Meng came an hour or so later and took us to dinner. He has some problems with understanding the word NO shouted numerous times; stupid idiot sprayed deoderant in his car while I was screaming NO DON'T!!! So then I had to spend the trip with my head stuck outside the window, while he proceeded to drive 72km to a place he'd never been before and get us lost. By that time we were half an hour late to meet people for dinner, and we found he had a map, he just didn't like to use it -_-"
Dinner was awesome, at a really good Japanese restaurant called Juju with Raymond, Tingting and Tommy. We ordered so many dishes we almost couldn't fit it on the table, but we were ok ^_^V Had some really good green tea ice cream at the end... pity I had a stomachache... but I ate it anyway XD After dinner Raymond and Tingting left, and Meng went the wrong way to the car *sigh* and Tommy needed to get dinner for his girlfriend. Haha when he was getting out of Meng's car he kicked off the bar at the bottom (again!) and spent a few minutes cursing and kicking it while me and my sis were sniggering at the back. Kekeke... Hehe, post boxes XD
At home, Cath was really tired so she wanted to sleep, and I used her laptop quietly. Haha I was discussing the strange evolutions to names, a little off-topic but I thought I would just mention here the strange character evolutions of Kura while trying to copy Chinese XDXD Kekeke... But you should see the wide variety of names I came up for my sister: Catherina (her real name), Cat, Cath, Cathe, Caffy, Cafne, Hafne, Smaffie, Shmaffie, Shmafne, etc XP Haha Chris was mildly pissed when I called him Chrissy-chan, hehe, even more when I called him Mufasa BHAHAHAHAHA Hehe he threatened me a park :P But I say it's worth it :D But then someone rang my sister's mobile and she woke up and I got kicked out of her room coz she's a really light sleeper, any noise/light will (keep her) awake. So I watched Jay played WOW for a bit. Then I was introduced to the unreasonableness of my sister again. She got out of bed, came to Jay's and told him to get her a cup of water. The kitchen was closer to her room than his, and she was already up! Get the freakin water yourself! But at least Jay wasn't pissy about it, he was really nice and ran to the kitchen immediately.
Hmm......that's about it. Had to finish the post in the morning coz my sis woke up ^_^>

Whee...I'm in Sydney now!! Got here just last night. And I'm actually going to Perth now. I wasn't allowed before Del suddenly had to go back to Holland to visit her grandmother was is really sick, and my parents thought it was too late notice, especially with the case of the eight year old who was raped and murdered in Perth. But now Del's not going anymore because her grandmother is better. Yaaayy!!!
Sydney is ok lah, not much planned except Fantasia. My plane flight was quick, only an hour and a half. I got the seat at the very back of the plane right against the wall, and the two seats next to me were empty, whoo!! The night view was really quite pretty, but I fell asleep in 10 minutes or so. And straight through until I was woken up by an air hostess to put my seat up for landing. So then I got the night view of Sydney as well. There were a few kids around me but they weren't too noisy. About 3 minutes before landing, I felt water drip down my back and I was like WTF!!! I felt the ceiling which was dry o.O
But otherwise the trip was largely uneventful. An hour of being picked up by my sister, her boyfriend (Jay) and their friend (Meng) and they were already arguing. Meng said Jay had promised to drive him to the city but Jay steadfastedly denied it. I laughed at them for a few minutes for not knowing what an emo is. At home, Meng kept swearing at Jay and begging alternatively for him to drive him to the city because he had to meet someone. By that time it was already like 9 o'clock and Jay refused to drive half an hour and back just to Meng could see some chick. In the end I shoved Meng out of the house and locked the door because he was pissing me off with all his whining.
My sister's house is sorta scary... The bathroom sink looks like it's infested with something... The kitchen sink is filled with dishes that hasn't been washed for a month... The fridge has all this red stuff running down the side... Almost every cup has stains on it that can't be washed off anymore... *shudder* I'm so scared of their toilet I brush my teeth in the kitchen... not that it's heaps better but at least i can put stuff down on the table without fear of contamination.
Haha, the morning before I came, Jay and Meng had massive hangovers because they were out drinking until 4am in the morning. My sister was so pissed that she ripped up all these photos of her and Jay and chucked the whole lot in the bin. I was moving the bin and was like whoa! wth!!
I stayed up til 2am watching soccer. Soccer! Me! I couldn't sleep so I joined Jay in the living room. I would assume I fell asleep on the sofa, but in the morning I woke up in bed with no memory of walking here, and Jay said I walked back to the room myself... o.O!
Today, got dropped off at the city by myself because both my sis and Jay had to work, so I got to wander around the city and managed to get lost. I went to Kinokuniya and drooled over all the anime and manga. I found DeathNote in English, Japanese and Chinese. But the pricing was sort of weird, because the English was $12/book, Japanese was $9/book and Chinese was $7/book. oOo and the 10th book came out too!! But I think I'll wait til I go back to Asia and get it cheaper there :D I also found this magazine/book thingy which was called Exposè which is a compilation of 'the finest digital art in the known universe'. There are works from people all across the world including USA, North/South Korea, Taiwan, Sweden, Germany, Italy, etcetcetc. I spent almost an hour flipping through 2 editions, and was really REALLY tempted to buy it. But it was expensive so I put it back on the shelf :(
Me, my sis and Jay has sashimi for dinner! YUM!!! mwhahahaha!!
Hmm.....aaannnddd I think that's it for today :D
