Buddha Festival / Friday, May 05, 2006

Lunch was fun, messed around with people's hair. Managed to persuade two people to buy hair accessories from me (^_^)V

Today is the first day of the Buddha Festival. Vince (Vince's mum to be exact) hired me to work at her store (Malaysian Delicacies). I went down to Southbank after school, getting to the bridge from the city alright, but afterwards I got hopelessly lost. Following Vince's directions to walk along the Flower Bridge I did. When I got to the Stadium, looked around, and upon seeing nothing in the immediate vicinity resembling their store, I called him, but he didn't pick up. Then I remembered him telling me towalk to the end of the Flower Bridge. Damn that bridge goes on forever. It probably spans across all of Southbank. Out of desperation I called Olivia and Sherlyn told me where to find his store, which was back near the start of the Flower Bridge *shakezfist* damn Vince and his vague directions!! Haha, nah, jkjk.

Well, finally got there. I had to wear Vince's shirt because he had forgot the spare ones -_-" At first I was fumbling around just trying to stay out of everybody's way, until I got the hang of it. I guess I like serving people better than stacking things on shelves. I really want to find a job at a restaurant. The noodles are fantastic, hehe, the K likes XP Saw Sean there, pity he didn't stay.

I really don't know why everyone hates Vince. I reckon he's kool. He's funny, cute (puppy dog type), and really nice. Bilingual too :P Yeah, I had an awesome time today. Thought I'd be tired when I got off work but I'm really hyped. Ah well, better sleep anyway, or else I'll never wake for Chinese school. Working again tomorrow!!
