BAS (Brisbane Anime Society) / Sunday, April 30, 2006
Today BAS had a screening of which included Tactics (anime). Because I had bought a Tactics pencilboard from Supanova but had never watched it before, I decided to go to today's screening, apart from the fact that it only cost $2 for everything (^_^)V!
Tactics is pretty much about this boy who is a priest and specialises in exorcism. Interesting but a bit gruesome. Not really compelling enough to watch the whole series. We only stayed for Tactics, and then we left. Densha Otoko was just weird. Real stereotypical otaku.
Pissed off Liv at work, Raymond came, then the 4 of us went to play pool. Had fun. I gave Olivia my shirt so she could wear it because she was cold and wore Chris' top shirt. Haha now I smell like him ^^"
Liv left early, and the rest of us just spent some time in Replay. Omg.....Raymond has absolutely NO TACT at all!!! *growl* But I won't get into that.
I left early, and because it was raining I stood outside the train station for a while, just feeling the raindrops falling on my face. Really refreshing, and soothing. I like standing in the rain, but I get heaps of weird looks. I wonder why ^^;
Haha, stayed up til 3am on Friday watching the last disk of Naruto, then didn't wake up for Chinese school, and ended up missing it altogether. Ah well...hahaha.... hm
I think I'll finish watching Full Metal Panic now.

Happy Birthday Olivia!!! / Thursday, April 27, 2006
Although technically her birthday was yesterday, I was too tired to post.
We had a surprise party for her at lunchtime, Courtney luring her over with a cat. Pretty funny. Poor Susie, she popped a party popper into her hand. By it was pretty fun neways.
Olivia also shares her birthday with at least 5 other people including Ben Ko, Jen Yang, Susie Plant, Tom Wen and my dad. Scary huh.
Anyways, I'm at school and class just ended, bai!

Supanova / Sunday, April 23, 2006
w00t! Supanova rocks!! Liv came to sleepover on Saturday night so we could 'get ready' for our big day the next day. Ended up being an hour or two of 'getting ready' and the rest of the night just chatting. Haha, yes Raymond, girl talk. XD We started watching some Parent Trap and then cbs finishing it. Can't believe how young Lindsay Lohan was when she made that. Haha, made some of my 'Special Paste' to pig out on (Philidephia Cream Cheese + Condensed Milk) Mwhahah, divine.
Then we stayed up til 2am talking and had to wake up at 7:30 to actually get ready. Time flew in the morning and soon it was 9:15 and Chris' mum was outside waiting for us. I sooo didn't want to go out to meet her, but shmeh. Neways, got to the RNA showgrounds where Supanova was being held. Since we were getting there half an hour before it opened the line was relatively short. Omg, so embarrassing when someone asked to take photos of us. During the day I got asked to take photos a total of 6 times x_x. Chris was slack and didn't cosplay, just wearing a (cool) Uchita Sasuke shirt. And he didn't wear the headband either. Gggrrr..... Haha but I look good in it so I wore it XP
We were just stuffing around waiting to go in. Thank god we were undercover instead of roasting under the sun. It was a whole lot different from what I thought it would be. It was held indoors for one. I thought it would be like the Medieval Fayre and held outdoors but at least we got air-con. Really fun going from stall to stall and seeing what they were selling. I wasn't really interested in buying DVDs because they were way too expensive for me and for manga they only had volume 2 and 4 of Death Note. Waste of time. But I spent quite a lot of time poring over the pencil boards. By the end of the day I had bought 5. Don't know if I'll use them all but shmeh :) Met up with some people inside, talked for a while then separated.
Oh man, the kamehameha competition was awesome. Some were really funny. The girl who won this year was screaming her head off. I think some windows cracked it was so shrill. Pity Eric didn't get though, I reckon he did a really good job of it for a newb :P Haha yes we've got that on video. Mwhaha, more blackmail material. And another funny guy who practically opera sang through the whole thing. He only came runner up though.
The cosplay competition was a real let down though. So boring. There was this hot Kakashi dude in the audience though XDIn the end got a Domo-kun t-shirt, and the Tokyo Night Train stall was giving people free t-shirts so got a free one of that. Plus almost 20 packets of the Garnier Fructis Style Manga Head sample packets. That stuff is so cool. At Supanova they had this stall where if you give them a pic of a character they can recreate their hair for you - free of charge too. But I didn't bother because the line was pretty long. Chris went to listen to some Superman thing and I sat on the bench and fell asleep. Haha, good dream, can't remember what it was though.
Well, all in all a pretty fun day, spent a lot of money, but well worth it I think. My costume was damned expensive. Used up all my red pocket money for it. Oh well, I really really like it hehe. Can't wait to wear my Domo-kun shirt out!!
Gah, school soon. Have to catch Pascal and get him to give me back my hard drive before school starts.

Holidays / Wednesday, April 19, 2006
Nearly the end of the holidays and nothing to show for it. Ah well... Since I haven't posted in a while here's a list of what I did during the hols. Was going to meet up with a lot of people but most of it never happened.
My Random Party
Because my house is the closest to the city and my mum allows me to have guys over, we usually come and crash at my place. A lot of people were going to come but they pulled out last minute so only 5 or so people ended up going. We were going to meet up in the city then take the train back to my house. I had something on so I was coming late and Liv was meeting everyone. When I got to the city they were playing pool and met Tom and Liam. Liv said Sherlyn would call when she got here but I called her home and found out she had been dropped off at 11:45...and it was 12:30 right now...We spent the next 2 hours scouring the city for her (dragging Raymond and Tom around) because she didn't have a mobile on her. Her dad is a multimillionaire and she still doesn't have her own mobile phone!! In the end she had gone home...But at least she was safe so it was ok.
Back at my house we watched Bruce Almighty and Russell Peters, ate and played charades. Chris and Raymond seemed to get on well together. And Liv is a crap Ninja! ><>

Met him once in Hong Kong, at an old classmate's birthday party and we talked on msn a lot. Decided we'd meet up. On the day...never showed. Scheh.
Olivia's Birthday Party
It was going to be on Wednesday (today) but Chris said his school started on that day so she moved it to Tuesday but I had work so we moved it to Monday. First we went to K (kareoke).
Mum cbs driving me all the way to Sunnybank so I had to take the bus. Met Pascal at the bus stop so waited with him. We were talking and nearly missed the bus XP When we got to Neway Chris and Sherlyn were already there. Sherlyn told Liv she was going to be wearing heels but in the end she didn't because 1. There had been a lot of rapes around Sunnybank and Chris and Pascal couldn't protect her because they were pansies XD and 2. We were most likely going to be late and have to run for the bus. Ahahah oh man I've missed having Sherlyn around. We were standing at the front of Neway waiting for Olivia to come and Sherlyn asked me what I got for Olivia.
Sherlyn: "What did you get her?"
Me: "It's a secret."
Sherlyn: "Oh I know, you got her a stripper didn't you?!"
Me: "...Sorry Chris, I forgot to tell you before but you're gonna be stripping for Livi today."
Chris: "What?! No!!"
Liv: "Come on Chris...XP"

After that we took the bus back to the city (and we didn't have to run for it). We went to go play Replay and pool, meeting people along the way. It was 3ish when we got to the pool place and all the azns had just woken up so every table was taken. After waiting a while the guy let us go upstairs to the 'VIP' tables. No difference really. Alanna came, Vince and his girlfriend and his friend and his friend's girlfriend came as well. Vince tutored me on pool and I'm getting better now *nods* no one else seems to like him though. Pity that. Oh well, I gotta be nice to my boss neways :P Then we went to take sticker photos and Alanna left. Pascal shouted us but he had to leave. After that Vince had to leave so it was only me, Liv, Chris, Sherlyn and Courtney going back to my house. Kelsey met us along the way so we were 6. Went home and talked for a while, then we ate, played charades, had cake. Damn candles melted really fast. Then we played space jump. Got the funniest quotes that night -->
Sherlyn: "And we sailed after the whale that took me leg. Argh!" (charades - Moby Dick)
Liv: "Look at this mango! Isn't it just...exquisite?!" (space jump - fruit stall)

And there was this one in space jump where Liv just broke up with Sherlyn and Liv dragged Sherlyn across the living room with Sherlyn hanging off her arm screaming. So funni...
But during Courtney and Kelsey saw two guys down at the swimming pool and they tried to talk to them and give them their phone numbers and stuff. It was really annoying.
Liv left first, then Courtney and Kelsey, then Chris, and Sherlyn didn't get picked up until 11 because her sister got lost to my house. So we played Uno for about an hour straight. Fun day, sorta fun night.
Bob
The next day (yesterday) we went out again because it was the last day of holidays for Chris. We were playing pool and Bob came too. Haven't seen him since Liv's last birthday party last year. He hasn't changed much except his hair's grown longer. And he's maybe a tad louder. Hahaha, he kept on trying to distract people while we were playing pool, but he didn't sink any balls himself. Raymond kept on sinking the black ball. We freaked out all the people on the tables next to us. w00t! Then we went to eat. Chris shouted me lunch. While we were eating Bob was teasing me and I threw some rice at him. I was aiming at his face but I had a side problem and it missed and went all down his shoulder. Curry rice + white shirt. OmG it was hilarious!! It went ALL down his back and the stupid tool sat on it. Funny sh!t. Spent ages in Replay and then I had to go to work. Ah well, it's good seeing Bob again. Even with Liv it's pretty quiet without him. Hahah one funny dude. Btw, for all those who live with me in Brissie and are reading this, Raymond is dating Liv now.
OMGOMGOMG I just realised yesterday that Raymond and Vincent were my Northshore classmates!!! Aha! I knew I had seen them before somewhere. And I looked at his ID and i'm like Hoac.......godammit I know this guy!! But from where?!?! And he's Jeff3's Brissie friend. All in all, it's a pretty small world.

Oh man, today was absolutely TERRIFIC!!!
First, in the afternoon went to eat at a sushi buffet with Liv and her family. The food was pretty good. After that, went with Liv to the city to get some fabric for my cosplaying costume. Mwhahahha it's gonna look so wicked! But first we went to Replay to see if Pascal was there and we could drag him around. Got to Replay, and saw Jason standing there watching people play Initial D. I swear everything just went outta my mind. I walked straight up to him and punched him on the side of his head. Hard. God that felt GOOD!! Wanted to do that for sooo long. Then I went to watch people play DDR. Hahaha he was so pissed. When we left for Myers, Jason and Chuan come along behind us. When we stopped at the traffic lights, Jason came up to us and asked who hit him.
“是我打你的，怎么啦？”“。。。我看你是女的。。。” “打我呀！”
Oh man, hahhaha, feelin REAL good! Justice is served! *manical laughter*
Pity I had to go smash my sis' mirror, and punch Jason with the same hand. Now my knuckles is some disfigured colour. Oh well, worth it though. XD

Facing the Red Dragon / Friday, April 07, 2006
Today was the last day of term! Yay! Pity school hasn't ended for me yet though. I've still got a Chinese School exam and test tomorrow -_-"
Anyway, as I said I would, I told Alison about me and Chris at morning tea. In the class before I had eaten a few Easter eggs so it had just hit my bloodstream and I was a huge sugar high, giggling uncontrollably. Not as bad as the Passionfriut Bubbletea but bad enough when you're trying to be serious. Anyway, I went up to Alison and I told her. About half a second's worth of silence and then "OMG, I'm so happy for you!" *hug*
I froze. WHAT THE HELL?!?!?? I just told her I was dating her ex and she was freaking happier than I was. That killed my sugar high INSTANTLY. "You guys really deserve each other and you would treat each other really well" and other bullshit. She was about to throw confetti for crying out loud! "Okaayy....I've done my duty here, if you will please excuse me then..." I managed to keep it to a walk for about 3 metres and then I broke and RAN FOR MY LIFE!!!! At home Chris told me she had gone as far as to send him a text saying congratulations........Can you believe they had actually been dating for a year+? He was driving when he read that text and he accidentally swerved and nearly hit a smart car! XD Next time she comes near me I'm gonna scream "STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU FREAK!!!" Seriously, she freaks me out now. I'd much rather she had chucked a spaz, coz I coulda said "you touch me and die bitch" We've all theorized about her reactions, and we did think of something like this, but she takes it to the extreme.
Anyway, finally got Russell Peters. Oh man, me and Liv were KILLIN ourselves laughing, and repeating stuff over and over and over again. To all those people who haven't watched it, please do, you don't know what you're missing.
